Luca Di Marco, born in Genoa on 2nd April 1975, graduated magna cum laude at the University of Genoa in 2000.

He started practicing in 2000 with Avv. Maurizio Dardani, dealing, in particular, with shipping, transportation and International trade law and on 2004 he joined Genoa Chambers. On 2014 he became partner of Dardani Studio Legale, where he now practices.

Luca is primarily devoting his practice to assisting Clients in the areas of international maritime law, with a particular emphasis on disputes relevant to charter parties, bills of lading and precautionary measures such as arrest of ship or liens.
His litigation practice covers, however, a broad variety of disputes including insurance and commodity cases as well as issues relating to freight forwarding, carriage of goods by road and ship agency.

Besides managing judicial and litigation cases, Luca has also developed experience in negotiating shipbuilding and charter parties contracts as well as in assisting Clients in matters relating to registration and re-flagging of ships.

Luca is a member of the Italian Association of Maritime Law (AIDIM) and he is also a contributor of the ILO newsletter for the Italian updates on shipping and transport law. He speaks Italian and English.

He was admitted to the Italian Bar in 2003, and he is a member of the Genoa Bar.
